Quick and Easy Turkey Avocado Burgers

This is a super quick + easy (and creamy!) recipe for lunch or dinner that involves only two main ingredients – ground turkey and avocados! My favorite đŸ˜‰ I found the original recipe from a blog called Laughing Spatula. It makes about 10 servings and costs less than $10 to make! Perfect for busy students looking to cook on a budget.


1 lb. ground turkey or chicken (I used turkey, but have heard good things about chicken!)

1/2 an avocado (I used a full one… a little too much!)

1/2 cup parmesan cheese or your choice of cheese, if desired

Olive oil, coconut oil or your choice of cooking oil

Chopped mushrooms, spinach or red onion, if desired

Salt, pepper, garlic or other spices, to taste

Preparation instructions:

Mash up the turkey, avocado, and other ingredients into a bowl

Form into burger-sized portions (should make about 10)

Grill using stovetop or outdoor grill until the turkey is fully cooked (no more pink, should be about 8 minutes)

Top with veggies, healthy bun or other toppings and serve up! They taste great with a side of sweet potatoes đŸ™‚
